How long will it be until I receive my planning permission?
On completion of design when you feel happy with the proposed planning application the submission is made, generally the return period is within 6 - 8 weeks. |
Do you perform design works on larger developments?
Yes, we have a good client base in the North East including building developers. We perform commercial and multiple occupancy building design works frequently including signage plans. |
Can you recommend a builder?
Yes we provide a service to supply quotes from selected local builders. Only selecting the best quality builders, we use the specialist areas of various contractors for your individual development requirements. |
What areas do you cover?
We cover the whole North East region including Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Hartlepool. On request we perform design works in the outer regions of the North East. |
Design Turn around Time?
On average a design is provided by Austin and Austin within 7 - 10 days once the initial survey is undertaken. |

As a CAD service what can you offer my company?
We can create CAD plans and layouts from your drawings and sketches. Produce schematics and room data sheets to specification. Austin and Austin save you the cost of employing a CAD Operator for your company as we produce the CAD drawings. |
What Disciplines do you cover?
We cover a range of areas including Electrical, Mechanical and Structural detailing. Using the latest drawing techniques we offer a fast service to ensure tender and post tender works are efficient. |
How do you provide a price for each project?
The price of our service is determined by drawing size and drawing content. |

What Plotters do you Supply?
We offer a range of Hewlett Packard, Canon and OCE Plotters to buy and to hire. Austin and Austin can also service your plotter to ensure no down time affects your company. |
Do you deliver prints and drawings?
Yes once we have created or printed your drawings we will deliver direct the same day. |
